Fiesta in San Antonio is a time to celebrate, but it is also a time to dance! SAMet presents "Dance Kaleidoscope" each year, which is an official Fiesta event.

SA Met Ballet is proud to collaborate with The Sunshine Cottage School for the Deaf in February, 2012. Guest choreorapher, Yo-el Cassell (Boston Ballet), will teach two workshops to the 3rd, 4th and 5th graders and set a new work on SA Met dancers. The Sunshine Cottage students will then be able to see "Dance Kaleidoscope" thanks to a generous grant from the San Antonio Junior Forum.

The 2012 "Dance Kaleidoscope" performance will include guest artists Georgia Ambarian and Eric Luna, World Champion Theatrical Ballroom dancers who have been seen on such shows as "So You Think You Can Dance" and "Dancing with the Stars". Sponsored in part by Russell Hill Rogers Fund for the Arts and the City of San Antonio Office of Cultural Affairs.

Each year, the San Antonio Metropolitan Ballet participates in the Regional Dance America / Southwest Festival (RDASW).

In 2012, SA Met Ballet will travel to Montreal, CA for the third National Festival to dance with over 80 of its sister dance companies from across the United States.
