San Antonio Metropolitan Ballet was chosen by the Royal Ballet of London to provide "Extras" for their production of Sleeping Beauty in San Antonio. At right are the nurse and pages from SA Met. The Monkey Pages performed with Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf in Act III. The Court Ladies were escorted by Royal Ballet dancers in Act I and appeared in the "Wakening Scene." The Pages accompanied the Fairies and bore the gifts for the Baby Aurora.
